What the heck is up with all the victories this month?!

Seriouslyyyyyy. It’s like I’m getting bombarded with everything I was deprived of Jan-Feb. Feb definitely felt like a fat month. LOL.

I’m not sure how many of you remember that back in… I want to say… end of summer 2011 (maybe a month or two later), I bought two pairs of skinny jeans to track my progress. Aeropastel (these are HQ non-stretchy jeans btw!). I used to not be able to fit into any of their sizes (11/12 is the largest I believe). Lost weight. Squeezed my ass into 11/12s at the end of summer. Towards the end of fall I was able to get the 9/10’s half way up my thighs. A month or two ago I was able to get them half way over my ass. LOL. And now I’m able to get them over my hips and BUTTON THEM!! They button. omg. I can’t wear them yet because they’re still too tight and don’t slide up all the way. There’s like an inch of hanging crotch space hahaha. So another 1/2-1inch off my hips/thighs and they’ll be perfect. I never thought I’d see the day! The jeans I’m wearing now, I bought mid or end of January. They were tight around the waist and would give me a muffin top. Now they’ve become a lot more loose and don’t cling at all. Which is why I kind of out of the blue decided to try on the Aero ones to see if I had made any progress. I took pictures before of those jeans being half way up my thighs, but I guess they were on my Blackberry. It drowned in a toilet in Dec and I lost all my stuff so yeah. :( Kind of sucks LOL. I wish I had the comparison pics to show. Oh well. Pretty happy about this. :)

The 120’s feel so much more attainable now. Which brings my weight loss total to 25lbs. :))

Long overdue weigh in!

Hiiii. Feels like I’ve skipped too many weigh ins. One because of my poconos mountain road trip, and the other one because of my period. It feels weird. Feels like I didn’t make progress number-wise in February. But my body is definitely different. I can see it and feel it in my clothes. The difference is awesome. :) Now that I’m going to do Insanity, I’m hoping my body really changes more drastically. Can’t freaking wait! I’m doing my fit test today ^-^

Since my last weigh in I lost:

  • -2.2lbs — woop woop :)
  • LW: 143.0
  • CW: 140.8

Overall, doing good. This weekend probably set me back a little bit. But that’s okay. Time to get back on track. I just hope I’ll be able to get a workout in tomorrow because I have a HUGE exam on Wednesday that I need to study my ass off. Until next time! Happy March :)) 

Weigh in time… now that I gained like 594308504lbs from indulging in pixel calories. ;D

Good afternoon! (From the East Coast). For some reason I feel like it should be the end of the month. Ha. Look at me wanting time to speed up. Definitely hope not! But it just feels like it should be March by now. Maybe it’s because of the ridiculously warm weather. I think mother nature slept in and skipped a season, yes yes? Hey, I’m not complaining! I hate the cold. Good riddance. I got excited to write down my measurements today.. but then I realized it’s not the end of February yet. So you will all just have to wait until next week for those numbers! ;D Only downside of that is that next week will be Shark Week, therefor my weight will fluctuate up and my body will probably bloat. Oh well. It’s all good. I’m in the 142’s-143’s so I’m super happy about that. Don’t really have any more updates. Family life is just stressful. =\ I’m juggling everything as best I can. We’ll see in what direction my life goes in a couple of months. I really really really want to meet a nice, spiritually strong guy, and start a serious relationship. I’m tired of short-term flings and disappointments. I want to be ready for commitment and get out of this house, start a new chapter in my life. I feel like I’ve been living in the same chapter for wayyyy too long. You ever have that feeling?

Since my last weight in I lost:

  • -0.8lbs — yessss! Had a total of 4 off days, two of which were only two days ago. Lucked out the scale didn’t fluctuate up.
  • LW: 143.8
  • CW: 143.0

As you can see, my weight the past few days has been all over the place. Huge fluctuations because of the off days. But still trending downward. :))

Good morning lovely followers! So I pretty much had a great week. Didn’t have much stress to deal with from family/school. Classes went well. My eating went well for the most part. My gyming went well for the most part. Took an extra rest day yesterday because I felt like I needed it. I feel great! :) The only thing that has been on my mind/bothering me a bit is V. arg -___- Oh well. A little change-up with my weigh ins: I won’t be posting weekly measurements; instead, I’ll post them at the end of the month. I think I’ll be able to see better overall results that way instead of expecting them to change from week to week because I know that’s silly. 

Since last week I lost:

  • -1.4 lbs :))
  • LW: 145.2
  • CW: 143.8 

Officially out of my plateau?? Awww yeahhhhhhhh

LOL! Well that’s all I have to say for today. I hope February is going well for all of you so far. Stay strong, stay healthy! :)

Weigh In

This is the last weigh in of January. Where have the days flown?! It’s crazy. And it has been quite a month for my weight loss journey—a frustrating one at that. LOL. I feel like my body is testing me, testing my patience, my perseverance, my dedication. In my previous attempts, I would usually give up right around this time. But this time around, there’s no chance of that happening. I’m going to keep going and make every attempt to try to figure out a way to maximize my weight loss. I switched up a lot of my routines this month so it’s only a matter of finding that perfect combination. I can do this. Even though I was hoping to be closer to 140 by the end of this month, I’m not going to let that get me down. We’ll see what happens in February. :)

Since last week I lost:

  • -1.0 lbs <- yay
  • LW: 146.2
  • CW: 145.2 

This month I lost a total of:

  • 2.6 pounds
  • 1.6 lbs body fat
  • 0.6 lbs muscle
  • 0.5” chest
  • 1.0” waist
  • 0.5” hips

This month’s non-scale victories:

  • Set a new record for highest calorie burn @ 950.
  • Decreased my RMR, increased my VO2 capacity.
  • A pair of jeans that used to be tight on me are now significantly loose. They used to stretch around my thighs and hips, and at one point I could barely button them. But now the material just grazes over my leg without stretching and they fall down without a belt. WIN. :)
  • Didn’t cave into the urge to talk to V. 

Weigh In

It feels like every time I workout more intensely my weight goes up, and when I workout minimally my weight goes down. It’s so weird. :l Anyway, not too crazy about this week’s weigh in. Especially since it’s shark week. I lost weight, but not really anything significant around my body. Obviously I’m not going to be losing an inch off my body every single week :p ha, I wish!! Being patient during the more stagnant parts of weight are really difficult. Anyway, on to it.

Since last week I lost,

  • 0.4lbs
  • 0.3lbs came from body fat
  • 0.1lbs came from muscle
  • I did lose 1” from around my naval and around my lower ab, but I think that’s just me being debloated. So NBD.

I hate fluctuations. :( Well, at least I didn’t gain nor stayed the same weight right? Until next week!

Yes yes yes! Finally out of my dreaded plateau. You have no idea how happy this makes me. :3 It doesn’t make sense to me that upping my intake would have helped. But I guess that’s just how the human body works! Our job is to understand these things and comply, even if it doesn’t make sense logically. Overall, a good week. I accomplished my single goal, to eat at least 1700 calories for a week. Not sure what I’m going to make my goal this week, I’ve been doing pretty good in most areas. Perhaps I should start going to sleep earlier since my semester starts on Wednesday. Eep :( 

Anyway, since last week I lost..

  • 1.2 lbs
  • 0.75lbs came from body fat
  • 0.5” from my waist
  • 0.5” from my hips (woot!)

That’s all folks. See… upping your calories will not cause you to gain weight. I barely did any cardio this week and I still lost an inch from my body and lost a pound! You don’t need to be scared. It’s normal to be nervous, I was super nervous as well. But put your trust in health. It will work. I promise. 

My chart is beginning to get crazy hehe. See how my weight fluctuates from day to day? I don’t pay attention to it. Instead, I look at the green slope. That’s the most important part and not momentary gains/losses.

Dear 147, I am sick and tired of seeing your face for the past month. Please GTFO. Thank you. Yours Truly, A Very Disgruntled Weight Loser. I was so excited to break past this plateau this week. Sigh. :( Here’s to hoping until next week.

So uh… since last week I’ve lost:

  • Nothing. LOL…. 0 lbs. Well.. at least I didn’t gain anything, right? 
  • 1/2” off my chest/back
  • 1/4” from my upper arms (yay!)

And that’s it. Very disappointed this week. Since it’s a new year, I’m going to start posting my chart for 2012 totals only, and not from the beginning of my journey (maybe I’ll do that at the end of each month?). I’m not liking the little hiatus period in between. It looks misleading. Cheers to a new year:

I haven’t been home for the entire weekend (and certainly indulged in too much delicious food while celebrating someone’s graduation!) So I’m going to do the weigh in based on today’s numbers and count it for Sunday. LOL. It’s whatever. No big deal. But I don’t feel like skipping the data for next week. K enough blabbering. 

Since last Sunday:

  • Lost 1.2 lbs
  • Lost 0.75 lbs from body fat
  • Lost 0.25 lbs from muscle
  • Lost 1” from my waist
  • Lost 0.5” from around my naval
  • Lost 0.5” from my pooch
  • Lost 0.25” from my calves (yay! Hate my calves)
  • Lost 0.5” from my upper arms (happy about this! Takes forever to lose from my arms since they’re not naturally slender)
