It’s a simple word that most know yet few possess. And for those of us who have it, there are obstacles, barriers, walls put up to hinder and destroy progress.
But we must proceed, we must push, we must persevere. Because to advance means to struggle. It is meant to test our passion, our knowledge, and our heart. So we must put everything we have into the endeavor. We must lose ourselves in the cause, or else the cause may be lost to all.
The stakes are high, but more than anything, we cannot fear failure. We cannot lose focus or drive. We cannot stand still.
We can never give up. Ever.
Phew, I’m pooped. Promos are hard! Why do some blogs do them like 3x a day 59048508340543x a week? I don’t get it.
Anyway, I’m off to work. Have a lovely morning/afternoon/evening/night wherever in the world you are. :)
Hrmm… probably jogging. Ew. I am not a runner. I’ve tried working on my mile a few months ago. I stuck to it for a few weeks… but it never grew on me. I do enjoy randomly sprinting though.
Needless to say, I would still like to be fit enough to be able to run a mile if I need to. Despite not liking to run, a goal of mine is to be able to run at least a little bit. I’ve always wanted to participate in the Color Run and Tough Mudder which involves a lot of running.
Just about any other form of cardio I really do enjoy. :) Swimming, bike riding, roller skating, jumping rope, elliptical, etc.
I think my aversion to running is deep rooted in my childhood… I always hated gym class fitness tests. LOL
LOL… why do I always view these questions at the end of the day? Awkward…… I cooked chili for my family a few days ago. And my mom asked me to cook her an omelet tomorrow morning. I suppose that counts?
Generally, my parents don’t poke into my food. They’ll be curious to try it and cut off pieces from my plate, but overall they stick to their own food.
Nope! I stopped counting about a year ago. One of the best decisions ever. <3
So I guess I’m getting kind of scared now because this thing is not going away. :( My health insurance expired last month and I’m in the process of finding a new policy… which alone takes like 3 months before it’s active.
My leg was better this morning, but mom noticed it swelled up again throughout the day. I have no idea why the fluid isn’t draining properly. It’s kind of migrating from my knee down my left calf. I can feel how tight it is and it’s so uncomfortable. :(
And like… I have no idea what it could be. I’m laying here worried that it’s a blood clot or something freaky like that. With no insurance I’m kind of fucked. =\
I don’t understand how this happened and why it’s not going away. :(
