It’s so sad when people who don’t know much about or understand the Bible use snippets of its text and manipulate the meaning to justify their claims. And what’s even more sad is that people who don’t know the Bible at all believe what these people say is true, blindly. Therefor they continue to have a skewed perception of its meaning when that’s really not what the Bible “says” at all. Their standpoint about the Bible and religion is all made up of someone else’s ideas and claims, instead of their own through the process of actually educating themselves.
It’s just… sad.
