Well, Paleo isn’t a “weight loss diet”. It’s just a cleaner way of eating. You’re eating healthy fats, lots of fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, nuts, and meats/fish. While I don’t believe in the calories in calories out model, it’s definitely possible to gain weight on Paleo (albiet a lot harder), just like it’s possible to gain weight as a vegan or vegetarian.
It’s hard for me to really gauge what happened with you since I don’t know the details and ins/outs of your every day, and I don’t know exactly what you ate. I don’t know what your activity level was like. If you had a log of this somewhere I’d be happy to take a look at it.
It’s possible you simply overate. It’s possible you thought you were 100/0 paleo when you were really 40/60. It’s possible you restricted yourself too much and ended up with too many “slips” because you didn’t feed your hunger. It’s possible you started eating something that your body was intolerant to. It’s possible you didn’t give it enough time. It’s possible you were eating the wrong foods (snacking on too many nuts and fruit, not enough fat, meat, and vegetables) Shrug. I’d need more details to be able to give you a more solid answer.
I have 2. My height because I don’t like being short. I would prefer an average 5’4-5’6. And my left arm because that’s a private matter I don’t wish to disclose. I’m content with everything else even if it’s not “perfect”. :)
