LOL I love this meme so fucking much. My cousin took off work today and we went to the city. Walked around for a bit. Dude… it was SOOOO cold and windy. I swear if we were out there for an hour longer my ears would have fell off. Afterward to went to the mall. I think it’s like 3.5 miles to walk the thing from one end to the other. We did that… in addition to stopping by various stores on the way. He needed to find a leather jacket.
Sufficient exercise for the day? I think so! Hahaha.
Oh but wait… it gets worse.
We were starving by the end of the day. We left the house around 3pm and it was nearing 10pm. He’s been asking me to go to a chinese buffet for weeks now. He hates restaurant dinning because there are no photos. At a buffet he can just pick out what he likes. Mind you, he doesn’t speak English!
Man… I ate so much I could pop right now. I haven’t been to that place since August 2012 probably for a birthday. I had a single piece of everything.. and I mean everything. Hahahaha. And even though buffet food isn’t of the highest quality-yolo. They have some of the best baked flounder and hot&sour soup around. Finished off with a plateful of fresh fruit as dessert. :)
Oh the fat life for me. LOL.
Ah don’t worry! I failed my first time as well. I followed this 30 Day Challenge right here. With the exception of allowing myself to cook with grass-fed organic butter and put a little bit of heavy cream in my coffee.
Often times when people start a new diet they’re more focused on the weight loss aspect rather than the diet themselves. So they end up incorporating advice from various areas when they should just be focused on adjusting to a new lifestyle.
Yeah, I think those are some of the more important basics that I kind of learned through trial and error. I’m always here if you have any more questions! :) Definitely give it another shot.
Yes definitely! I’ve always found pasta and bread to be empty calories for me. I could eat a 1200 calorie chicken alfredo or something like that, be stuffed until I could pop, and then get cravings and be hungry again an hour or two later, not to mention I’d get really sleepy after eating that kind of meal. I could eat a sandwich and be hungry an hour later. (IE: peanut butter sammich with 2 slices of whole wheat toast, topped with strawberries)
That’s not normal.
Cutting those foods out has helped me take control of my hunger. Now when I eat a large meal, I am full for hours and hours and hours. I don’t even think about food. And I have lots of energy.
So yeah, it has definitely helped indirectly. :)
