So yesterday’s attempt to get back on track failed (yet again). I ended up getting Mexican… a burrito with rice/beans/chicken/queso/etc. and a soda. Most of the time, on nutrition labels, the macros (protein, fat, carbs) are rounded to whole numbers and the calories are rounded to the nearest multiple of 5.
Haven’t you ever noticed that? Very rarely will you ever see the calories as something like 148 calories per serving…they’ll round to a nice neat number. Or how we assume every egg is 70 calories? Because every chicken...

ETA: Also the reason why you get sleepy after eating. Blood is diverted towards digestion, therefor making you tired.
While no scientific evidence points to particular health problems associated with sleeping after eating, doing so may be problematic for some people.

Why the hell not?? It’s the products that say “no trans fat” that are the ones which contain the maximum amount of trans fat which they’re allowed to not label. Albeit, some types of trans fat occur naturally and are healthy. Most are not.

The weather goes wako for a few weeks and crop yields plummet, just like that. Imagine if we really were a plant-based society and this happened. There would literally be a nationwide famine. Not only would there be barely any food, but prices would skyrocket.

Why?
Because muscle mass is metabolically active, and fat is not (ehh.. very small amount). Therefor, for every pound of muscle that you build, you’re burning additional calories. You’re replacing one pound of fat with muscle mass as well as subtracting the weight of the fat burned off by the additional muscle mass.
