thinspo = thinspiration = images that inspire me to lose weight
thinspo =/= anorexic =/= things that influence me to become anorexic
Anorexia is a disorder, labeling something as thinspo does not constitute a mental disorder. If you have an unhealthy relationship with the thinspo tag, or if the word “thinspo” triggers you negatively in any way… then perhaps there’s another underlying issue there that needs to be dealt with accordingly.
Anyone who takes 2 seconds to glance at my blog would know right off the bat that I am far from anorexic. And this battle of “thinspo” having a negative connotation to it is really annoying. I gave a much more diplomatic answer about this issue a week or two ago if you wish to read that.
I don’t use the treadmill.. ever. I run on the highschool track. TBH running on the treadmill feels unnatural for me. Never been a fan.

I know.. a bit annoying. Sorry! I try to post ones that are relevant to the blog (and some of the articles really are kind interesting).
But the’re going towards my college tuition. With personal/family things that happened over the past 6-12months, I need to find ways to cover my expenses otherwise I am SOL =\ The company I work for basically can’t pay me for the work hours I put in for my actual job. So yeah. I’m kind of screwed in a sense.

Awuh sweetie :(( That’s all your hormones going wacky! I honestly don’t have much background knowledge on birth control. But I know a lot of women struggle with weight when they go on it. One of my friends gained like 20lbs from birth control.
What I can suggest is that you really really really monitor what you eat and try to exercise to combat any additional calories. Burn more to eat more, that way you won’t be gaining and you’ll still be able to satiate that increased appetite.
Also focus on eating lots of protein and whole foods with fiber like broccoli, brown rice and other grains, beans, etc. That way you’re full after each meal and don’t need to resort to snacking. And when you do find yourself craving something, have a portion once in a while. Otherwise tell yourself no because you know it’s your hormones talking, not your tummy. Think of it as not wanting to be controlled by your hormones (that sounds kind of messed up but LOL it may work!)
